Morning Gooners. Bank holiday Monday and what news of Arsenal can we find?

First up a few sites inc some Media reporting Chelsea are in for Theo and wait for it…………………………………. Sagna.  I like the fact that Chelsea have signed Hazzard and the Hulk…. Hold on…. Looking around the internet I can’t seem to find a picture of either wearing the blue shirt of Chelsea… Strange that. What can it mean? Maybe they have NOT actually signed for Chelsea. Knickers in a twist comes to mind…

Nice to see RVP hit two goals for Holland in Euro’s warm up match against Northern Ireland. I am looking forward to seeing Holland play and hopefully they do not implode, and don’t play the hard game like against Spain in World Cup Final. They are much better playing the proper Dutch way.

Alex Oxlade Chamerlain getting some good press today. Looks full of confidence and not afraid to show what he can do, even if sometimes it does not come off, he just gets straight back up and goes again.

Alex said:

“It’s nice to get the first one out-of-the-way,” he said. “The first of many, you hope. This is what I want to do. I was delighted to get the call to play and I was very excited. I wanted to try to prove something. I’ve shown glimpses of what I can do but there’s a lot more to come.”

Henry Winter in the Telegraph says : Arsenal winger Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain shows his potential as England defeat Belgium

I did not watch all the game against Belgium, but what I did see was England’s abject failure to get the ball out to the wings and Oxo and also get the ball forward enough to cause any danger for at least 60 mins, save the goal.

Gary Cahill is now out of the Euro’s injured.  That’s Lampard and Cahill from Chelsea now. Too many games? With Cahill out and the best interests of the Country to be looked at, you’d think Rio would be the obvious choice. However, not for Roy, no!… He brings in another Liverpool player, Mother Kelly and that makes 6 (SIX) Liverpool players in the squad. I am not sure England/Roy are taking this Euro’s thing seriously.

Laurent Koscielny speaks to the Daily Mail about how losing to England would be a disaster for France, here

Finally today, I can’t resist linking two articles from Amy Lawrence and Henry Winter that were posted just before the 5-2 home thrashing of Spurs. These two articles sum up today’s media for me. There is also this one from Henry Winter about who would make up a combined Arsenal/Spurs top.

Cheers
