Arsenal News 18 April 2012

April 18, 2012

Morning Gooners… Bloody hell it’s raining here in London…

Today the media are reporting the story that RVP visited the Marriott Hotel in Park Lane where Barcelona are staying…

Evidence here is a picture of him coming out of the hotel.

Full Arsenal track suit on and took the time while Barca are in london to pay a visit… You’d think that it was that simple… But hey!!! This is football… This is the media… These are social networking times… It would never stop people suggesting or making rumours that 2+2 = 5 and that RVP was there to see the Barca directors to discuss his impending move to them in the summer, would it?  Get over it. He was more than likely there just to see Cesc and Afellay who are mates apparently, footballers can have mates…

Jack Wilshere is out for the season..Now there is a surprise… NOT!! However the good news is Jack is also out of the Euro’s and some stupid put together Great Britain side for the Olympics… Good News Jack should just take the summer to get his injury right and be ready for next season…

Can people STOP having a dig at Arron Ramsey. I understand he was even getting death threats on Twitter. What sort of people do this? The lad is still very young at 21. had a year out due to a terrible leg break… The same people no doubt that would threaten Shawcross for tackle are now threatening the victim. Why? because Wenger is playing out of position. Moving him round to gain experience.  Yes, Arron does do some silly things, But he has an engine and will become an excellent player for Arsenal. GIVE HIM TIME..

Apparently Gary Caldwell the Captain of Wigan says RVP lacks class… Is that so Gary?… If I were a Wigan fan I’d be worrying about how much class you have. Seems you and your team mates can only be bothered to turn up for a games when playing against the top sides. One wonders where you and your teams mates are when you playing the teams around and just above you, you know the games you can’t get yourself up for, which is why season in, season out, your down the bottom fighting relegation. You did well against Arsenal and Man Utd and were unlucky v Chelsea, but stick to fighting relegation and stop worrying about the type of player RVP is as you’ll never play along side this type of player.

All said and done I wish Wigan all the best as they at least try to play football and have a very good and likeable manager.

The Premier league have done their  short list for their 20 year awards see the article. No doubt some good and a lot of debate will come about with their choices.

Bayern beat Real 2-1 with a late goal and the tie set up nice ly for the return leg. Tonight it’s the turn of Chelsea to host Barca at the Bridge. I’m hoping for a narrow 1-0 or 2-1 win for Chelsea so as they have something to go for in next weeks match. This may have a decision on how they approach our match on Saturday and any advantage we can get is OK by me. Still a no lose situation as even if they get beat a smile will be spread across my face.

Finally congratulations to Reading for being promoted to the premiership… Not that Harry Redknapp will be happy as we all know he hates Reading..
