Arsenal News 11 March 2012

March 11, 2012

Morning Gooners.

Well no footie yesterday for the AFC, so we had to make do with watching out for the results from Chelsea, Spuds & Liverpool… First up was Chelsea who made hard work of dispatching with 14 man Stoke RFC due to a player sent off to draw level on points with the Arsenal. Chelsea’s performances of late are not good and they are nowhere near playing as a team. However, it would be nice to see them edge Spurs out of 4th place.

Liverpool lost yet again (Nicky B scoring the winner for Sunderland) and the Scouse natives are getting restless. I thought King Kenny was the Messiah!!!

Ryo Miyaichi sets up late winner for Bolton and by all accounts had a storming match. The Sun report said this of young Ryo : “On-loan Arsenal kid Miyaichi, 19, stole the show for the hosts — he was a constant thorn in QPR’s side and it was a sublime piece of skill that set up Klasnic’s winner”

Bolton manager Owen Coyle was delighted with Arsenal loanee Ryo Miyaichi’s performance against QPR on Saturday. The Japanese starlet provided the winner for team-mate Ivan Klasnic with an excellent pass. “We scored a terrific goal, great individual skill from Ryo Miyaichi and then Klasnic goes in one on one with the goalkeeper and it’s an outstanding finish,” the manager told the BBC. The former Burnley manager hailed the youngster, who has been in sensational form since joining the Trotters in January. “I thought (Ryo) was terrific again,” Coyle added.

“Harry Redknapp’s got a twitch. Harry Redknapp’s got a twitch. Where he got it we don’t know, where he got it we don’t care, all we know is Harry’s got a twitch”

Later Spurs travelled to Everton where they started with loanee Adebarndoor and finished with (gentlemen’s agreement) signing from Everton Sahahahahah!!! The game ended 1-0 to the Toffee’s and all of a sudden the tiny Totts empire is crumbling. Win Monday night and not only will we fall into place one point behind them, but GD will have gone completely.

“Where’s your 10 Pts gone… Where’s your 10 pts gone…”

Sorry have to mention @henrywinter again with Shift

Gareth Bale was diving again and it’s a joke how he gets away it. Surely enough is enough with this guy and time for refs to put a stop to it.

Now answer me this. While the meedja have been looking for anything they can find to knock Arsenal in every shape or form, they have been bigging up King Kenny and Harry Redknapp… Both said managers have just lost three league games on bounce, while Arsenal have won four on the bounce. Which one of Harry or King Kenny will lose the love of the meedja first?

Robin van Persie talks to the Sunday Sun Lots of meedja rumours about today about RVP signing for Man City this summer. Apparently he will earn £1m a day and Arsenal will get £5.50 and a Doner Kebab as transfer fee. I am told RVP will also get 1000 virgins, a luxury £250m pound yacht that is being commissioned.

Alex Song is still on the Transfer rumour merry-go-round. I suppose two more wins and Man City will be bidding for Wenger/The Board/Ground and offering £750m for Arsenal’s history.

Arsenal themselves have suddenly gone from a no-hopers feeder club, to a team that could finish top four and about to spend £500m on new players. If a player moves we’re in for him.

Yesterday Podolski got a red card for headbutting in Cologne’s match v Hertha Berlin.
