Arsenal News 6 March 2012 – Match Day

March 6, 2012

Morning Gooners… The day has come, let the battle commence.Second

-v-  currently 0-4 to the Milanese boys… Is there a chance that Arsenal can actually turn this around?

4-0 and you f**ked it up would be a good chant to be ringing round the Emirates at 9.30, even 10.15 tomorrow night.

Questions today on Gooners minds :

  • Do Arsenal go for it?
  • Do Arsenal rest players and concentrate more on making sure we get 3rd spot for another shot next season?
  • Will Milan come out to play or will they just play the typical Italian park the bus game, soak up pressure knowing all they have to do is not concede?

I think we should go for it and take a risk and if our players get injured then that’s a risk worth taking, because if we were toto win it would be one of the greatest nights Emirates has seen. We scored five v Spurs in twenty-seven mins. overturning  a 4-0 deficit in Europe is not a regular occurence as you may gather, but Arsene Wenger teams always score goals and with the crowd behind them and no silly mistakes in the first 20 mins, combined with an early goal (or two) and who knows.

Early team news is that Arteta and Benayoun and that mysterious bloke with the beard and afro who came on as sub v Liverpool are out for the match. Arsene might change the formation with four attackers, though not sure he has much choice and the injury hoodoo seems to have struck us again.

Going to get through this totally relaxed. Make sure everything goes right and anything that may look troublesome, delegate. Then home to watch what could turn out a classic football match.

Let’s just hope it does not turn out like last season’s Spurs v Real match return leg 😦

Stay safe out there.
