Arsenal News 5 March 2012

March 5, 2012

Morning Gooners. Monday!!! It’s a fine morning. That was a great weekend  and even more so on the football front.

Arsenal beating Liverpool 2-1… How many Liverpool players were on international duty during the week compared to Arsenal, anyone know? Still think Henderson knew what he was doing when he took out Arteta. Have you any views?

Chelsea losing 1-0 at WBA… Big news on Sunday is that Andre Villas-Boas was sacked by Chelsea. What a joke this club is becoming. Money talks today, but seriously why would any manager worth his salt take this job with Roman in charge? Yes Chelsea’s results have not been good, but sacking a manager after nine months is wrong. Football going to the dogs. Still the important thing is the Media have headlines for a week or so.

Later on Sunday somewhere in a grey, dank part of North London a small club called Spuds lose 3-1 at home to United…

Geoff Shreeve’s asks the wide boy in after match interview ‘Arry is it perplexing when 2-0 down and you don’t know what to change?” Shreeve’s should have asked ‘Arry is it perplexing when 2-0 down and you don’t come back to win 5-2

Gary Neville says : I hope Tottenham finish in Champions League place and 3rd as their season deserves it. Excuse me, it’s the beginning of March not May, Gary., Tottenham’s season deserves what they get when the last ball has been kicked, not what has happened up till now. However, I have to say Gary is one of the better pundits on TV and I hope he does not change as the years roll on like Mr.Gray.

Graham Souness says : Arsenal one man team. If anything happens to RVP then Arsenal will struggle to make top four.

Let’s all laugh at Tottnum… La la la la… La la la la….Spurs excuses coming out in force, such as injured players, HELLO!!! welcome to Arsenal’s world.

Last night the wife was complaining about the noise from the wardrobes. Called the carpenter and he said it was just all the Spurs fans climbing back in them.

This morning as I get off at Bank Tube Station I am greeted with the announcement “mind the gap”. You could spot the Spurs fans who all got a bit twitchy, it’s only four points now. Goal difference being eroded as well.

News – Mikel Arteta has spoken of his terror after suffering concussion during Arsenal’s 2-1 win over Liverpool at Anfield on Saturday. “I have suffered the biggest fear of my life,” “I only remember the fall by the blow and nothing after. It was terrifying but now I am better. “Sincerely, I do not remember too much apart from the impact. I have heard people applauded me as I left the field and I am grateful for this reception.””I want to be available for this Tuesday against Milan,” he added.

Alan Pardew, you know him, the bloke that had a spat with Arsene Wenger when at West Ham and now having a spat with Martin O’Neill of Sunderland. This is the type of bloke he is.  The bloke has a level, the thing here is, when he suddenly finds himself above that level a couple of times this season at Newcastle, he suddenly thinks he is brilliant and much better than he actually is. Mr. Pardew, your average at best and during your career you’ll have a few highs, not great ones mind you, but suddenly finding yourself in the top four or a good cup run.

Things is that’s it! that’s a far as your going, and very soon you’ll be back when you belong, managing another Championship outfit and sacked from Newcastle. Your Like Fat Sam, having a good run with average team and then taking them backwards, still you’re not alone, plenty of other managers like you.

Managers who will NEVER manage at top, top club. Fair play that he apologised, shame he could not do the same with Wenger.
