Arsenal (sort of) News 1 March 2012
Pinch, Punch first day of month. Morning All. March is here, days are getting longer. Mind you bet it’s a bloody long week for the Spuds fans.
First up today, I need some feedback. Q what do you Gooners think of Koscielny? Having a bit of a debate with someone who thinks he is well overrated. I think he is a talent. Would be grateful for your opinion.
Hitler speaks on Arsenal 5-2 Tottenham. Love these and so funny.
Good news that Robin van (he scores when he wants) Persie comes off at half time so that should see him fot for Saturday. TV5 played the whole game for Belgium so that’s also good news.
On the game, Not much to report up to Half time, YAWN!!!
HT 0-0
Second half and 57 Mins Robben makes a great run towards goal, Hunterlaar, drags the England defence all over the place and Robben runs into the area and sticks a low shot past Hart 0-1
59 mins and Huntelaar spreads the ball wide to Dirk Kuyt on the right, his crosses Huntelaar bullets a header into the roof of the net 0-2. Sadly he also heads Smalling and they both go down like a sack of Spuds (Spuds used to going down this week) Good start as new England captain for
Been a good week for the a seriously overrated footballer.
62 mins – Yawn
68 mins – Yawn
76 mins – Yawn
84 Mins and Gary Cahill standing so far offside he was on the platform at Wembley Park Station, get the ball, nicely sidesteps the defender and sticks the ball into the net for 1-2. Could this be game on.
90 mins Walcott playing the way he faces, lays it off to Jones who slides the ball perfectly into Young’s path and he chips it superbly over the Dutch goalie 2-2 Get in…
91 mins and would you Adam & Eve it, van Bommel with a lovely cushioned ball to Robben, who shapes up and curls a pearler into the net off the hapless Gary Cahill. 2-3, my word, Take a boo Son…..
Despair, Hope, Joy and back to despair again, the words of Adrian Chiles, which is enough to make me despair. What does this bloke bring to football on TV. He’s not even funny.
Sturridge gets MOTM award as a substitute. What’s going on?
Arsenal goalscorers for the evening Internationals. Lansbury (2) and Oxo (1) for England under 21’s. Joel Campbell with a single shot for Costa Coffee. Arshavin bag one for Russia (well he is on loan, so technically still a Gooner).
Arsenal are to play one of the World’s biggest teams (in their own minds) Man City in China this July. That should help keep the vault in the basement of the Emirates nice and full, if someone can find the code to open it that is. Apparently they have been looking for over three years now. Maybe Freddie the Frog should be called for?
That’s all for now folks!!! Pwoper football back at the weekend
Stay safe out there.
What a load of old tosh you spout H. Anyway I’m to Israel soon for my daughter’s wedding so won’t have any more free time to read this rubbish!
Ladies and gentlemen who read this site. I give you the world’s biggest anti-Gooner.
